Stairwell Sessions

The stairwell to the upstairs in my house has some unexpectedly delightful acoustics, so that’s where I’ll often sit and sing and work on some new song ideas.

Last night, I set up a mic and did a one-take recording of a song that I’ve been singing to myself for the past couple months (unedited and just how it would sound if you were sitting in the stairwell with me).  I wrote it as I walked my dog through the woods countless times this winter and spring and have been singing it in the stairwell for a while now.
